Are you looking for something uniquely festive this holiday season? How about a little garden that will dress up your decor, not break your budget and doesn’t need to be packed away or thrown out after the holidays?
Uniquely Festive ~ Ornamental Pepper Fairy Garden
I’m sure you’ve seen these bright ornamental peppers in IGCs and some of the other holiday stores. I bought a red one, but I’ve seen yellow and orange, too. The fruit on these plants reminds me so much of traditional Christmas lights so I made a quick fairy garden from mine. What do you think? The best part is that it will last until well after the holidays. I just need to keep the pepper plant warm, the soil moist, and place the entire garden in a brightly lit area. I’ll also use a water soluble fertilizer every two-three weeks. In the spring, I can take my little garden outdoors or remove the plant and replant it to another area. I love decor that lasts more than one season!
I’ve seen some really adorable fairy gardens lately in stores and on social media. So many cute and fun ideas out there! Do you have any favorites?
